Degree Requirements for JD Students, and Honors Eligibility

Whether you arrived here as a first year student, or as a transfer (second year) student, the requirements are the same. In addition, joint degree students have the same requirements as those under the standard, three-year JD curriculum. It will help your course planning greatly if you develop an understanding of your degree audit report (DAR), which can be found via Wolverine Access. Please read the document at the "Degree Requirements" link before looking at your DAR. If you have any questions, then feel free to contact Jack Atkinson (magnette@umich.edu) in the Office of Student Records.

Honors eligibility rules are different depending on when you began law school. This is pointed out in the document on the "Honors Eligibility" link below. Most of our current students will fall under the "new" rules.
