2.This course, seminar, or clinic grade basis is mandatory graded and may not be taken on an elective limited grade (pass/fail) or “P” grade.  This upper class course, seminar, or clinic grade may not be converted from a letter grade to a “P” grade.

4.This section of the course, seminar, or clinic fulfills the law upper-level writing requirement (LUWR) for JD students and the research requirement for LLM students.  EXCEPTION—Fall Starters who take the upper class course/seminar as the first-year elective do not fulfill the law upper-level writing requirement (LUWR) for JD students.

12.This course or seminar is limited in size.

35.Winter Term--First-year students (Fall Starters) cannot elect this course or seminar as the first-year elective.
