The general purpose of this course is to strengthen students ability to analyze legal problems and to do effective research both legal and general by increasing their knowledge of sources and developing the intellectual ability to apply knowledge of the sources to particular problems in legal and law related research. The course also synthesizes material found throughout the Law School curriculum, to the extent that students are required to apply both substantive and procedural analysis in their research papers.
