The Council of Higher Education has established a scholarship program for U.S. and Canadian students of Czech, Slovak, or Rusyn descent who plan to continue education in undergraduate and graduate programs. Renewable scholarships are offered each year for full-time study.

Kosciuszko Foundation Tuition Scholarships support United States citizens and permanent residents of Polish descent for full-time graduate studies. Scholarships range from $1,000 to $7,000. Selection is based on academic achievement, interests and motivation, and the applicant's interest in Polish subjects or involvement in the Polish American community. Financial need is taken into consideration.
