Access Group is asking law students throughout the country to videotape their worries for the chance to win a $10,000 scholarship. Their "One Less Worry" scholarship contest invites students to create and submit an original video of up to four minutes showing what they worry about as law students. Access Group will review the submissions and select 10 finalists that will be voted on by friends, family and the general public. The entry receiving the most votes will be awarded the $10,000 scholarship. Deadline: June 15

Scholarships are available to all liberal arts degree holders of any regionally-accredited U.S. institution who wish to pursue a CPA certificate. Scholarships are given based on academic achievement, leadership and future career interests and are contingent upon acceptance in a graduate accounting program. Each year, up to seven recipients will be awarded $5,000 and will be eligible for renewal for one more year, provided satisfactory scholastic progress is maintained. Deadline: April 1

The ALI-ABA Committee on Continuing Professional Education has approved a limited number of full-tuition scholarships to attend the ALI-ABA Course of Study, Environmental Law, to be held Wednesday - Friday, February 6 - 8, at the Hyatt Regency Bethseda near Washington, DC. If you are interested in attending this course please submit a letter of interest to the University of Michigan Law School Financial Aid Office, 310 Hutchins Hall, by December 20th. The Child Care Subsidy Program provides funds to students with children to assist them in meeting the cost of licensed child care. To be eligible to compete in the student category, authors must be enrolled as either full- or part-time law or graduate students. To be eligible to compete in the professional category, authors may be legal practitioners, business professionals or academics. The Business Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan offers an annual writing competition and Business Law Section Scholarship Award. The writing competition is open to all law students enrolled in an ABA accredited law school in the State of Michigan. The Supreme Court of Oklahoma is offering several types of scholarships for the Sovereignty Symposium XVIII that will be held in June of 2005:
- The Ed Edmondson Scholarship offers full tuition to the Symposium and is available to as many as one hundred persons. Applicants should demonstrate an interest in and dedication to Native American law issues and the need for a scholarship in a letter of application.

- The Susan J. Ferrell Scholarship offers full tuition, meals and travel to the Symposium. It is awarded to one law student who demonstrates an interest in and contribution to Native American legal issues.

- The Chief Justice John B. Doolin Writing Competition offers first, second, and third prizes in the amounts of $500, $300, and $200. The subject matter of the paper may be on any area of the law relating to Native Americans or other indigenous peoples.

The University of Michigan UM/ULI Real Estate Forum Scholarships totaling $10,000 will be awarded to five students. UM graduate students who study business, architecture, urban planning, public policy, law, natural resources, or engineering, who wish to be considered for one of the $2,000 scholarships must submit their resume along with a brief paper.
