Supreme Court Clerkships (1991-2007)

University of Michigan Law School graduates have a long history of involvement with the U.S. Supreme Court, and more than 75 graduates have clerked for justices on the Court. At least one of these graduates, the Hon. David Ebel, '65, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit, went on the bench himself. Since 1991, Michigan Law has been the top public law school for United States Supreme Court Clerkships, placing 23 graduates in this prestigious position.
