SUMMARY:Defendant Jeffrey Epstein, a hedge funds mogul, had minor females transported to his house in Florida, under the pretense of giving him a "massage". They were then forced into various sexual acts of different magnitude, for which they received varying payments. The Palm Beach Police Department identified at least 17 local victims, and the subsequent FBI investigation identified at least 40 victims from other countries, who were transported to Epstein's house. The defendant plead guilty to the charges of solicitation of prostitution and solicitation of minors to prostitution. There are a number of related civil cases which resulted in settlements.
