SUMMARY:Defendant Emmanuel Nyuon and his co-conspirator, Mohammed Sharif Alaboudi (tried separately), transported a 15-year-old girl who was arrested for prostitution. On the night the three were arrested, the defendant and Aboudi had dropped the victim off at a hotel to meet a john and had communicated with her by cellphone about her commercial sex act. A jury found the defendant guilty on both counts - sex trafficking of a child and conspiracy - and the judge sentenced him to two concurrent 30-year sentences.
