SUMMARY:Defendant Anthony Aguilar was convicted of voluntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 480 months imprisonment. Witness in the case was a prostitute who was involved in a commercial sex transaction with the victim of the crime. The witness testified that she used money from commercial sex acts to buy drugs for herself and the defendant. Witness also told a private investigator in an interview that the defendant had been "rough with her" on the morning of the shooting. It seems that defendants was forcing the victim to engage in commercial sex acts through physical force.
