APPEAL STILL PENDING?:
SUMMARY:Co-defendants Pipkins and Moore were arrested in 2001 during a law enforcement sweep of Atlanta-area pimps. At trial, the prosecution produced evidence which revealed that from 1997 to their arrest in 2001 the pair prostituted girls, sometimes as young as 12 years-old. The pair enticed victims to prostitute for them by promising a lavish lifestyle. Physical violence, rape and psychological techniques were used to keep the victims obedient. Victims were sold online, and moved out of state for sale in other cities. Co-defendants also paid for condoms, manufactured out of state. These factors allowed for RICO charges to be filed.
