SUMMARY:From November 2001 to June 2004, Defendant Russell A. Pallas, as the manager of Kittery Health Club (d/b/a the Danish Health Club) in Portland, Maine, conspired to transport individuals in interstate commerce with the intent that such individuals engage in prostitution. Pallas was a former police officer. Pallas admitted to inducing individuals to cross state lines to prostitute themselves. Pallas pled guilty and was sentenced on November 21, 2005 to 10.5 months imprisonment.
