SUMMARY:Defendant Michael Simons pled guilty of transportation with the intent to engage in criminal activity. He helped transport a minor female from her home in Pennsylvania to Los Angeles in October 2004, where she became a prostitute. Two other defendants were charged with helping Michael Simmons - his aunt in Pennsylvania, Stephanie Gease, who bought the bus ticket for the minor and took her to the bus station, and Deshonqua Strait, who was a prostitute in Los Angeles who kept the other prostitutes, including the victim, "in line." Simmons was sentenced to 210 months in prison.
