SUMMARY:The victim ("F.B."), a 14 year-old runaway, met Defendant Stephen Buggs at a Dallas bus station in November 2005. Defendant provided the victim with housing, as well as false identification indicating that she was 23 years-old. Defendant prostituted F.B. and found her work as a stripper. The victim gave to the defendant all of the money she earned.

In January 2006, defendant assaulted the victim with a statue and beer bottle after observing the victim speaking to another pimp in a bar. Later, after sexually assaulting her with a sword, Buggs tied up the victim and left her in a locked closet.

Shortly after the defendant forced the victim the return to the street, she escaped to her mother's house after telling the defendant that she was going to the store. The victim's mother contacted the police the following morning.
