SUMMARY:In 1987, police and the DHS removed five children from Clark and Sharon Snell's home on allegations (later to be found false) that the Snells were involved in child pornography and child prostitution. The Snells filed a $10 million federal lawsuit in 1987 against DHS and four employees, claiming that DHS employees deliberately gave a judge false evidence as part of a conspiracy to get a search warrant for their home. In 1992, the Oklahoma DHS settled by paying the Snells $130,000.
