Kyle Faget
Kyle Faget is a 2007 graduate of University of Michigan Law School. Kyle earned her undergraduate degree from Smith College and a post-baccalaureate certificate from Bryn Mawr College. Before entering law school, Kyle studied neurodegenerative diseases including Alzheimer’s Disease and Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts; she has co-authored several articles in these areas. While Kyle was a student at University of Michigan Law School, she began exploring intellectual property law with a specific interest in drug development. Kyle is currently working on two papers addressing the role of the FDA when approving politically charged drugs, such as medications to treat HIV/AIDS. Kyle is also interested in patent marking and inducement in patent infringement cases. Lastly, Kyle has a paper forthcoming this spring in The Georgetown Public Policy Review, Georgia v. Ashcroft: A New Statistical Model. She will be joining Ropes and Gray in the Fall.
