Symposia, Conferences, Workshops and Speakers
Symposia and workshops are available each academic year. During the fall, noted scholars and practitioners are invited to Ann Arbor to participate in the International Law Workshop series on "hot topics in international law". In addition, Michigan offers, through the efforts of students and faculty and the Center for International and Comparative Law, one- or two-day conferences on a variety of topics, usually open to the entire University student body. The School also regularly invites distinguished speakers, including private practitioners, representatives of national governments and supranational organizations, members of the judiciary from around the world, and lawyers in non-governmental organizations.
