The Law School Fund supports all aspects of Michigan Law’s mission. When you give to the Fund, the impact of your gift reverberates throughout the School. Law School Fund gifts help provide support for students, our faculty, and for curricular initiatives like our acclaimed International Law, Clinical Law, and Legal Writing programs. A robust Law School Fund gives Michigan Law the flexibility to allocate resources when and where they’re most needed.
Donors of annual gifts of $2,500 or more ($1,200 for graduates of the last decade) are recognized each year at the Cavaedium Society level.
For information on the Law School Fund, reunion giving, the Firm Participation Program, and the Class Agent Program, please contact Janice Glander, director of annual giving, at jglander@umich.edu or (734) 615-4521.
Your gift to the Law School Fund helps support Michigan Law’s more than 50 student organizations. These groups are an essential part of the student experience, as current students attest:
• “For me, the biggest benefit of taking part in student groups has been the leadership experience.”
• “Student organizations give law students a chance to test the waters in a variety of legal fields, and thereby identify new--or crystallize existing—area of interest.
• “Student groups are great for networking, both with professors and outside attorneys.”
• “Student groups are a good way to meet people and make friends outside your section.”
• “Student groups provide a forum that allow students to continue conversations about the law outside the classroom.”
