Scope

This bibliography of the published works of University of Michigan Law School faculty is selective: professors and publications must meet the selection criteria listed below in the Persons Included, Persons Excluded, Materials Included and Materials Excluded sections. In addition, because the bibliography is a record of the intellectual history of the University of Michigan Law School, it includes only publications written and published during each faculty member's appointment in the Law School. Such works must also be discoverable using the commercial indexes and other sources listed in the section entitled "Research Methodology" or be reported to us by the Law faculty.

Dates following each name in the bibliography refer to the dates the individual worked at the Law School in an academic position described in the "Persons Included" section.

The Procite database from which the bibliography was produced is updated continuously using a variety of methods, including professor reports of new publications and systematic research. Each publication is examined to ensure accurate citation information.
