Jordan M. Barry is visiting from the University of San Diego School of Law, where he is an associate professor. He teaches courses in the areas of tax, tax policy, contracts, corporate finance, and law and economics. His research focuses on corporate and securities law, tax law, and law and economics. Prof. Barry has published scholarly articles in the Stanford Law Review, the University of Pennsylvania Law Review, the Virginia Law Review, and the Texas Law Review, among other journals. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of San Diego in 2010, he served as a law clerk to the Honorable Jay S. Bybee of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and practiced law in the New York office of Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson. He is a graduate of Cornell University and Stanford Law School, where he served as managing editor of the Stanford Law Review.
