Cheryl S. Bratt is a teaching fellow in the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic. Before joining the clinic, she was a senior associate at the law firm WilmerHale LLP in Boston, specializing in securities litigation and representing a variety of pro bono clients in family and education law matters. Most recently, she worked as an adjunct clinical faculty member at the Law School, teaching persuasive writing and advocacy. She clerked for the Hon. Mary A. McLaughlin on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, and for the Hon. Norman H. Stahl on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit. She graduated with high distinction from the University of Michigan with a BA in English and women's studies, and from Michigan Law School, magna cum laude, where she served as the book review editor for the Michigan Law Review. Before law school, she taught eighth-grade language arts in New Orleans through Teach for America and later worked for the organization as a regional director.
