Ankers, Norman C.

Norman C. Ankers is a 1976 honors graduate of the University of Michigan and a 1979 honors graduate of Harvard Law School, and the longtime chair of the litigation department at the law firm Honigman Miller Schwartz and Cohn LLP, where he has practiced and tried complex commercial cases for more than 30 years. Ankers became a member of the adjunct faculty of the University of Detroit Mercy Law School in 2005, where he has taught Conflict of Laws, Alternative Dispute Resolution, and Evidence, and was named the Outstanding Adjunct Professor for the fall 2006 term. He is the coauthor of West Publishing Company's multi-volume Michigan Court Rules Annotated—Evidence (1996).
