​Ruby Robinson is a managing attorney at the Michigan Immigrant Rights Center (MIRC), a statewide immigration legal services provider and resource for Michigan's immigrants and immigration advocates.
Professor Robinson has worked at MIRC since 2012. He is an expert in many areas of immigration law, notably relief available to survivors of domestic violence/crime and naturalization. He regularly advises clients and their non-immigration defense counsel on the immigration consequences for criminal convictions.
Professor Robinson graduated from Wayne State University Law School. Before law school, he was an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Brooklyn, New York.
