Rosa R. Peters earned a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in computer technology. She spent eight years as a programmer/systems analyst in the private sector before coming to the University of Michigan. She has been working at the University since 1984, starting as a programmer and then becoming a systems consultant at the University's hospitals. Peters then spent 10 years as director of computing at the Dental School prior to becoming the information technology (IT) director at the Law School. She has hands-on knowledge of systems development and corporate IT planning. Peters oversees all information technology and audio-visual matters at the Law School.
