Paul Astolfi is a partner with Mayer Brown LLP's global projects group and co-head of its renewable energy practice. He is also an adjunct professor at Michigan Law.
In his legal practice, Astolfi has worked on a wide variety of financial transactions, including renewable energy projects located on five continents, the capital structure of GM's financing subsidiary GMAC during GM's bankruptcy, and over $7 billion in debt securities offerings.
Astolfi's experience with renewable energy and renewable energy projects covers utility scale and distributed generation, debt and equity financing, and U.S. domestic, cross-border, and foreign transactions. In addition, he has spent significant time as acting general counsel to a major international renewable energy project company.
Astolfi received his BA from the University of Massachusetts in 1994 and his JD from Michigan in 2000.
