164.#787 IMPACT OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON INTERNATIONAL LAW: This class will meet from Monday, March 24 through Wednesday, April 9.

165.#787 IMPACT OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON INTERNATIONAL LAW: Students who enroll in this class should have completed at least one of the following two courses: #606 Transnational Law or #605 Advanced Transnational Law.

166.#787 IMPACT OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON INTERNATIONAL LAW: Students who have previously taken #886 Impact of Human Rights on International Law (seminar) are not eligible to take this class.

167.#787 IMPACT OF HUMAN RIGHTS ON INTERNATIONAL LAW: There will be no examination for this class. Instead, students will be required to produce a paper. Students who wish to write a longer paper for an additional credit may, with Professor Simma's permission, add one credit of Law 900 Research. Once Professor Simma has approved, please follow the directions in the online Registration Instructions for enrolling in Law 900. Registration Instructions are located on the Law School Office of Student Records Web site, under "Registration" (http://www.law.umich.edu/currentstudents/registration/registration/Pages/default.aspx). The two-credit paper will satisfy the upper-level writing requirement.
