Workplace Law & Policy Advoc

Workplace Law and Policy Advocacy Students in this experiential course will complete written advocacy projects involving workplace law and policy. The projects will consist of amicus briefs in federal or state appellate courts, comments on proposed regulations, testimony or other material for legislatures, white papers, or other similar advocacy documents. Topics may include workplace civil rights, wage and hour law, health and safety regulation, workplace organizing, and other related issues. Students will be expected to research, draft, and revise the written documents, with feedback from professors and peers, and will present their projects to the class.
