This seminar will address topics involving housing law and policy, with a particular focus on low- and moderate-income tenants and homeowners. Topics will likely include: code enforcement; foreclosures; gentrification; affordable housing development, public housing, and housing subsidies; fair housing and exclusion and segregation based on such factors as race and disability; and evictions and access to justice. Students will write a paper or prepare written work of equivalent scope for a nonprofit organization.
