Using the airline industry as a case study, the seminar will explore a number of cutting-edge antitrust issues including new approaches to collusion (price fixing through public statements and pricing algorithms), business combinations (mergers in network industries, cross-ownership investments), single-firm exclusionary practices (predatory capacity expansions), and criminal enforcement (leniency and antitrust compliance lessons).
