Lawyering Skills for a Diverse World

Cross-cultural communication is a vital skill for lawyers to master. Culture plays a role in almost all areas of a lawyer-client relationship. In this course students will evaluate and analyze the potential impact of culture on a range of lawyering skills including interviewing, counseling, and trial advocacy. This course will use a variety of approaches including simulations and role-plays to help build effective cross cultural lawyering skills.
